About Kaushal Panjee
Kaushal Panji is a mobilization tool which was introduced by Honorable Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar on 25 September 2017. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Rural Skills Scheme and Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSETI) are two schemes run by the Ministry of Rural Development of India. Under these schemes, the government is providing skill training and self-employment opportunities to the youth. Rural youth needed a right tool to apply for this scheme 24*7 and correct information of youth was not available. To solve this problem, the government started the Skill Register. This tool is to capture the demographic details of rural youth and their aspirations so that they can be provided skill training. Skill Register covers all participants such as MORD, SRLM, PIA and employers. It has the potential to meet the demand and supply of skilled youth in India. This tool will capture the details and be maintained in the Gram Panchayat.
